OBJECTIVE:
The Dallas CPA Society (DCPAS) members are our clients/customers and the Society activities must fill the needs of these members. This committee is charged with promoting interest in Dallas CPA Society activities among members with social activities that are charitable or just for members to enjoy each other's company.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:

• Annually review committee charge and modify objectives, responsibilities, and activities as necessary to accomplish the goals of the DCPAS Strategic Plan.
• Develop leadership skills of committee members in order to have a smooth leadership transition from year to year.
• Hold monthly meetings as necessary.
• Involvement - strive to involve all members in DCPAS activities. Give new and returning members a first stop for their long term involvement in the Society.
• Organize activities of interest to the entire membership such as social functions, volunteer activities, sporting events, and cultural events. The committee should conduct the following activities:
• Just for Fun Gala
• Charity Golf Tournament
• Margarita Ball
• Love for Kids activities including:
• Coat Drive
• Christmas Party
• Circus
• New CPA social functions aligned with Membership Enhancement activities
• Annual meeting
