OBJECTIVE:
The Dallas CPA Society (DCPAS) members are our clients/customers and the Society services must fill the needs of these members. To develop and promote relationships between Dallas CPA Society (DCPAS) members and other financial, legal, local government, and professional organizations as determined by the committee.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:

• Annually review committee charge and modify objectives, responsibilities, and activities as necessary to accomplish the goals of the DCPAS Strategic Plan.
• Develop leadership skills of committee members in order to have a smooth leadership transition from year to year.
• Hold monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of every month.
• Involvement - strive to involve all members in DCPAS activities. The committee should conduct the following activities:
• Contact other professional organizations and working with them, put together programs/meetings that would be of mutual benefit to the groups involved. (Suggested organizations are the Dallas Bar Association, Dallas Estate Planning Council, Dallas Chapter of CLU's, Financial Executives Institute and/or the Tax Executives Institute, National Association of Women Business Owners, Dallas Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Risk Management Association, Financial Planning Association, Society of Financial Service Professionals, National Association of Black Accountants, Texas American Institute of Banking, Institute of Management Accountants, Association for Corporate Growth, Association of Purchasing Managers, Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce, Commercial Finance Association and/or other approved organizations.)
• Promote Happy Hours in association with Membership Enhancement.
• Design other events that promote networking and contacts for membership groups in the Society in association with Membership Enhancement and Special Events Committee.
• Carry out all programs in a manner in which long-term relationships can be established.
