Annual DCPAS dues for members are as follows. This does not include TSCPA dues.
A. Seventy-five dollars ($75) for each member who, at the beginning of the
fiscal year, shall have been in possession of a CPA certificate for less than
five years.
B. Ninety-five dollars ($95) for each member who, at the beginning of the fiscal year, shall have been in possession of a CPA certificate for five, but less than 10 years.
C. One hundred fifteen dollars ($115) for each member who, at the beginning of the fiscal year, shall have been in possession of a CPA certificate for 10 years or more.
D. Members 60 years of age or older and retired, persons who are permanently disabled, or inactive, may pay nominal annual dues of twenty-five dollars ($25). To qualify for this status, a written application must be made to the Board of Directors.
Members admitted during the membership year shall pay the quarterly pro-rata of the annual dues structure, except those members who transfer from other chapters of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. They shall pay no dues for the first Dallas CPA Society fiscal year in which they are admitted, considering they have paid their current year's dues in such other chapter. The application of this provision is made as follows:
| Quarter in which application is submitted: | Portion of dues payable: |
| 1st Quarter | June July August | 100% |
| 2nd Quarter | September October November | 75% |
| 3rd Quarter | December January February | 50% |
| 4th Quarter | March April May | 25% |
Anyone who has forfeited their membership for nonpayment of dues or other obligations may submit an application for reinstatement in the same manner as provided for new members, provided the person applying shall submit with his application the pro-rata amount of dues for the current year plus any obligations which were payable.
Membership in the Texas Society of CPAs is mandatory for Dallas CPA Society Membership.
